DON’T MISS OUT!
October is a well known month for raising awareness of mental illness and deconstructing stigmas that prevent people from seeking help when help is needed.
This year, to do our bit for mental health in Wollongong and the greater Illawarra, we are hosting ILLUMINATE: an art exhibition that aims to shed a light on mental illness by creating conversations using the various mediums of art as a catalyst.
Local artists young and old will be exhibiting their works, including paintings, sketches, sculptures, and poetry. There will be an artist performing songs written by and about mental illness, and a local street artist, Trait, creating Live Art on the opening night.
This will be a night not to be missed, and a cause worthy of your time. Bring your friends and family and enjoy your Eat Street bites as you wander the gallery.
Thursday 12th October 2017
