Emma is a qualified psychologist with over 13 years’ experience working with a range of mental health concerns in children, young people their families. Emma has experience providing both assessment and intervention services. Emma has worked extensively with children, young people and families who have been exposed to trauma, who have behavioural difficulties, developmental delays, social skill difficulties, emotion-regulation difficulties, mental health concerns and/or academic concerns. Emma can assist children, young people and their families with behavioural, developmental, emotional and relational difficulties by providing parenting support and training, behaviour management support and individual therapy.
Emma believes in a strengths-based approach and works with each individual client developing personalised treatment and support. Emma draws from a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Therapies and Interventions, Trauma Based therapies (TF-CBT) as well as distress tolerance and emotion regulation skills.

Education and Experience
Emma completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degree is in Psychology at the University of Wollongong. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology and Graduate Diploma in Professional Psychology Practice from the University of Wollongong. Emma maintains continued professional development and supervision to ensure evidence-based, current and quality practice.
