Thomas is a registered psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents and families. He has experience working for an NGO and in a school setting.
Thomas works primarily from an attachment framework, integrating elements from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
He uses values- and strength-based therapeutic approaches to helping young people with behavioural issues and anxiety. He is also passionate about using mindfulness practices to teach individuals and groups to learn stress reduction techniques.
Thomas’ works principally with neurodevelopmental disorders, mood problems and anxiety. His approach is largely holistic, integrating the work with young people with their families and carers, which includes strategies for the individual and for the family as a whole.
