Sophie combines her lived experience insights with holistic professional knowledge as a therapy assistant to work with neurodivergent children, teenagers, and young adults. More specifically, Sophie is interested in the female and LGBTQIA+ experience of autism, the challenges autistic young people face as they transition to adulthood, the intersection of eating disorders, and the female profile of autism and autistic self-advocacy and self-esteem.

Sophie runs the ASPIREbels workshop, a strengths-based program that explores and celebrates autism and girlhood, whilst promoting resilience, self-esteem, and friendships. 

When she is not at the clinic, Sophie enjoys reading, writing, and meditating.
