Christelle Ardill
Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar
"My mistakes do not define me"
Make a bookingChristelle is a compassionate and resilient psychologist who brings a unique and insightful perspective to therapy, fostering flexibility and authentic growth in her clients. Having navigated significant personal changes herself, she holds a profound interest in understanding how change impacts individuals and what it takes to thrive amidst transformation. Her dedication extends to addressing the complexities of loneliness, where she strives to empower individuals to strengthen their connections with others and foster a sense of community.
Currently, Christelle adeptly balances her work at Marsden Psychology with a pivotal role supporting women recovering from trauma. With a rich background spanning roles at Headspace and as a school psychologist for many years, she draws from modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide holistic and effective care to young people and adults alike.
From a young age, Christelle’s fascination with psychology was sparked by observing a family member’s studies, a curiosity that blossomed into a lifelong passion for understanding the human psyche. Through her own journey of navigating life’s challenges, she has leveraged her therapeutic expertise to cultivate personal flexibility, resilience, and a deep-seated commitment to helping others do the same.
Outside of work, Christelle is an escape room savant who relishes the challenge of solving problems and beating the clock. When she’s not busting her way out of an escape room, you’ll find her listening to metal music, going to gigs, reading, or grounding herself in the great outdoors and rock climbing up a sheer cliff. All the while, her mind is creatively carving out the next challenge, which will either be swimming with whale sharks or running a marathon, your guess is as good as ours.
