Olga Turitsyna
Psychologist
“If you can't love yourself, how are you going to love anyone else”- Ru Paul
Make a bookingOlga is a vibrant, compassionate clinician who excels at building meaningful connections with clients across all age groups. She has extensive experience in providing psychological support for anxiety, depression, and trauma, and she is particularly skilled at supporting neurodiverse individuals. Olga leads holistic group programs for neurodivergent children, focusing on grounding through yoga, fostering connections, and boosting confidence. Her diverse background—having been born in Russia, lived in Germany, the UK, Austria, and now Australia—has cultivated her natural curiosity and deep appreciation for the knowledge and richness that different cultures offer. Olga has a long-standing interest in the interplay between mind, body, and environment, and she enjoys learning about people’s lives and journeys. She believes strongly in integrating creativity, exercise, and outdoor activities into mental health work, and values the collaborative effort with support systems and the strength of community and connection in both individual and group settings.
Before becoming a registered psychologist, Olga explored a variety of roles, including outdoor education, camp mentoring, disability support, inclusion support in schools, kids’ yoga instruction, and even entertaining at kids’ parties. Her role as a program coordinator for the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation—a not-for-profit organisation supporting children from families affected by mental illness—sparked her passion for creating engaging, creative group mental health programs and inspired her to pursue a career in psychology.
Outside of work, Olga’s lively and open-minded personality drives her into nature and outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and swimming. After surviving her first 2 years of motherhood and the working parent juggle, she acknowledges the importance of continuing to pursure things she cares about. Which, at this point, could be travelling far and wide around Australia, running a marathon, or catching the Northern Lights, as soon as a window of opportunity presents itself.
*Olga will be on maternity leave from Dec 2024 to welcome a new family member with plans to return late 2025.
