Carina has worked in the Early Childhood and Education sector for 15 years, working with children ages 0 – 12yrs. Throughout that time she has developed a passion for working with children and their families, who have a diagnosis of Autism.
She has also had personal experience, being a Mum with children on the Autism Spectrum. Carina completed her Graduate Certificate in Autism in 2017 and is currently undertaking her Masters of Autism through the University of Wollongong.
She believes that it is important to adopt a holistic and person-centred approach within therapy, focusing on the individual’s strengths, while also developing strategies that can assist them in their daily life.
Carina works in collaboration with other allied health professionals as well as in partnership with the client, their families and their support network.
