Marsden Psychology’s fees are set below the recommended fees outlined by the Australian Psychological Society. Please note that the schedule of fees is different for NDIS and if you are funded through NDIS you should refer to the information on our NDIS page.

Payment Options
Medicare Rebates And How Claiming Works
Clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their health care provider (GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist) may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 20 individual therapy sessions per calendar year with a psychologist.
The rebate is currently $128.40 per session with a Clinical Psychologist, and $87.45 per session with a Registered Psychologist. A $50 deposit is required to make a booking for an initial assessment. Full payment for the session is required at the time of the appointment.
Can I claim it through my private health fund?
Clients not claiming Medicare rebates may be able to claim through their private health fund if they have the right level of cover. Private health insurance cannot be used to top up the Medicare rebate. Please contact your health fund to find out if you are eligible to claim for psychological services.
Do you accept referrals from work cover or a third party insurer?
Marsden Psychology are able to accept referrals under Work Cover (i.e. Workers Compensation Insurance) and other third party insurers. Please contact us for further information about these referrals.
How can I pay for my sessions?
We prefer payment via Mastercard, Visa, EFTPOS.
